If waste doesn't exist in nature, then maybe it is just an attitude that we apply to matters that don't seem to hold any potential value. But when thinking about waste, it equals all the precious things - time, energy, ideas, commodities, resources. These are just things that we have given upon, so there is simply no waste without human decision to exlude those matters from a circuit. Still, the rejected is often more essential than it might seem, so we can't eliminate waste completely without unforeseen repercussions.
